Sherri Steele was born and raised in Barrie. After graduating from Innisdale Secondary School in 1997, she spent 8 years in the service industry at various establishment in Barrie. Although she had many positive experiences and made many friends along the way, it still left her wanting more. Her interest in the Health Care profession grew, but what intrigued her the most was the ability to relieve pain, assist in healing injury, and effect the body and systems of the body in a positive way without using medications.
After completing the 2200 hour practical and theoretical diploma program in April 2005, Sherri became a member of ‘The College of Massage Therapists of Ontario’ and ‘The Ontario Massage Therapist Association’. Working out of a home based business as well as several spa’s in the area provided a variety of experiences such as the treatment of chronic conditions, acute injury/pain, and watching the clients progress through the healing process. Relaxation and stress reduction is also a very important part of a healthy lifestyle and Sherri has seen the positive effects that massage can have on people with high stress levels in their lives. Through these experiences Sherri has dedicated herself to providing treatments individualized to the needs and comfort level of each individual client.
Sherri is confident that her knowledge and dedication to the health care profession will more than meet your Massage Therapy needs in a safe and comfortable atmosphere, and is looking forward to meeting you in the near future.
