Massage Therapy

The practice of massage therapy is the assessment of the soft tissue and joints of the body, and the treatment and prevention of physical dysfunction and pain. Massage works on the soft tissues and joints by manipulation to develop, maintain, rehabilitate or augment physical function, or relieve pain.

Massage is modified to fit the needs and comfort level of each individual client and can be used to treat a wide variety of conditions, reduce healing time, and for general maintenance. A light touch can be used to decrease stress and tension while increasing circulation to and relaxation of the soft tissues of the body.
