Lauren Lafayette-Brooks, Office Manager
Lauren has joined us to fill in for Renata while she is on her maternity leave. Lauren is a natural at the front desk, as she has been working in customer service since high school. Though her experience is primarily in the spa and salon world, her passion for health and wellness makes her a perfect fit here at Vitality for Life.
Lauren was born in England but grew up locally. She lived in Toronto for 6 years where she went to study Theatre Performance. After graduation she worked in the entertainment industry for a few years. She soon decided to change her path and went back to school fro Spa Therapy, to follow her passion for the spa environment. She attended Elmcrest College and shortly after graduating Lauren decided to start a family. After her first son we born, she moved to Barrie.
The birth of her sons has fuelled her interest in natural health care and Lauren became a client of both Dr. Anna and Dr. Sarah. Lauren’s proudest moment was giving birth to her youngest son at home with the Barrie Midwives and a Doula. She has done a lot of research on such topics and is happy to share her experiences.
Her warm and friendly disposition made her a clear choice for the front desk position and her smile and laugh are now a regular part of the day.
And remember that spa background? We are excited to announce a Therapeutic Spa addition to the clinic. In the New Year, Lauren will be offering Therapeutic spa services to help a variety of conditions. And is excited to become a permanent member of staff!
