Anna Falkowski received an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Physiology from the University of Western Ontario, where she finished an undergraduate thesis at the Lawson's Research institute under the supervision of Dr. Bryan Richardson (department of Obstetrics and Gynecology) in 1999. She went on to pursue her interest in the Health Sciences field by completing four years at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine, where she graduated as a Naturopathic doctor in May of 2003.
Anna has a special interest in Women's health including infertility issues (and increasing the efficacy of IVF procedures using acupuncture), pregnancy, hormonal imbalances, endometriosis, PCOS, and menopause. As a mother, Anna also has a love of children and has a special interest in pediatrics. After three successful natural births (all three children were born at home with the assistance of the Barrie Midwives and a doula), Anna enjoys working with pregnant women helping them to realize their ultimate birth plans. In addition, her practice has a focus on clinical nutrition, proper supplementation and Traditional Chinese medicine (including Acupuncture). During her studies, Anna pursued her interests in Yoga, detoxification and meditation, which have helped to create the foundation for her beliefs in preventative medicine.
Driven by her passion for helping children with sensitivities, Anna has recently created a line of natural baby skin care products called Olive Baby (visit the website at www.OliveBaby.ca), and is the co-founder of Plant2Body Organics (www.plant2body.com) , a company dedicated to making the purest, most nourishing skin care products.
